LG is showing off its affordable A1 OLED TV. The company officially unveiled its TV lineup during its virtual CES event and is declaring the beginning of its global rollout.
That involves its current high-end LCD line of QNED 4K AND 8K TVs, which combine quantum dot tech with mini-LED backlighting and an interesting set of OLED options for this year.
The G1 series encompasses OLED Evo panel technology that ensures better brightness and whites than we have ever seen, while its mainstream C1 line includes options ranging from 48 to 83 inches. Every TV in the company’s line, including the A1, includes eARC and ALLM features, even if it doesn’t have HDMI 2.1.
The first quarter of the company’s LG OLED AND LCD TVs is still unannounced, and the question of “how much the TVs will cost” is still unanswered for US buyers, although LG has released its price on some models in Germany.
The company is set to roll out the C1 and G1 models in April, with the A1 lineup shipping later. Pricing in Europe for a 55-inch C1 and G1 is set at €2000 and €2400.
