Have you ever deleted an Instagram post by accident? Or have you ever experienced getting hacked on the social media platform and seeing your post deleted without even knowing, Instagram has introduced a new feature that allows you to restore recently deleted posts.
The latest feature enables account owners to manage deleted content, by enabling them to restore posts that were accidentally deleted.
The social media platform also included additional protection to prevent hackers from deleting posts with the update. Hackers often delete content on targeted accounts, the social media company said it will verify account ownership before allowing users to restore or remove post, deleted content can still be accessed and restored in recently deleted folder for 30 days.
Step To Recover Deleted Instagram Post
Follow this steps below to restore accidentally deleted post on Instagram
- Click your profile picture.
- Tap the Menu icon.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Account.
- Select Recently Deleted.
- Tap the post that you want to restore.
- Click the three-dot icon on the upper right.
- Click Restore to complete the process.
With this added feature, Instagram users have more controls over their content and can restore post that they have deleted accidentally, while offering protection from hackers who remove content from accounts
