Though Apple was founded by Steve Jobs and 2 other in April 1976, the company received a blow in 2011. That was the day Steve Jobs died, yet the company continued to make great inventions and announcements.
When Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne started apple, it was on a bid to develop and sell personal computers. But for the kind of initiative that started the company in the first place, by January 1977 they incorporated as Apple Computer, Inc… After this incorporation, sales of its computers hit a significant force that boosted the revenue growth of the company.
Three years later, in 1980, the company went public and the revenue grew into instant financial success. As the market for personal computers increased, Apple saw shrinking sales because its products are always on the high-end prices. By January 2007, Jobs renamed Apple Computer, Inc. to Apple Inc. since there was a new shift of focus towards consumer electronics. And that was when the iPhone brand came into play. Jobs continued to be the CEO until 2011 when his health complications wouldn’t allow him anymore.
